Call 110 for crime, danger, traffic accidents, violence, theft, suspicious people, or urgent police help.
Say Where You Are
Prepare your address, nearby station, building name, shop name, or landmark. Location is very important.
Say What Happened
Use short words: jiko, dorobou, tasukete, kega, abunai, or keisatsu. You do not need perfect Japanese.
Stay Safe
Move to a safe place if possible. Do not fight or chase someone if it is dangerous.
For Fire or Ambulance
Use 119 for fire or ambulance. If you are not sure, explain the situation clearly and follow instructions.
